Destination Wedding in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

lake geneva destination weddingSometimes having a destination wedding doesn’t mean a far far away place, instead the location of choice can actually be one close to the couple, or their family, and one of great memories. That was the case when Melina and John tied the knot in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where Melina’s parents had a summer home and where she spent many a summer day throughout her childhood. The bride couldn’t think of a more perfect place to say “I do” and after seeing this lovely weekend-long wedding, we can’t either! Melina’s one requirement? A casual and inviting vibe, and when Ali of Engaging Events by Ali kept the decor simple, with crisp details, that’s exactly what the day turned out to be. destination wedding getting ready photosA palette of white and Melina’s favorite shades of green carried throughout the day, beginning with the sleek and simplistic programs from Clementine Ink + Paper.
