We visited Il Borro, a sprawling 1700-acre property owned by Ferruccio Ferragamo (who lives beside his guests). Located about 50 minutes from Florence, the estate features not only a private villa perfect for buyouts, but a borgo (ancient village) that houses approx. 100 guests in beautifully-appointed apartment-like hotel suites.

You’ll enjoy private indoor and outdoor swimming pools, chef-prepared meals in your own formal dinning room and even an in-home gym and sauna for your days indoors. What more could you ask for?!
For larger groups, book the borgo hotel rooms that are housed in a medieval village dating back to 1039 (updated with all the modern amenities and luxuries you could want, of course).
