Bridal Market Fall 2012

new Carolina Herrera wedding dressesNow that the shows have come to just about an end, today is a brief recap of our favorite new destination wedding dresses hot off the bridal market runways.  Pictured above, two fabulous new bridal gowns from the always sophisticated Carolina Herrera.  Love, love, love this watercolor tulle gown with sash and sweetheart neckline.  Dare I say – swoon?  Yes, I said it.  It’s perfection (for any wedding, not just a destination wedding).

This halter gown from Anne Bowen shows off one of this coming season’s newest trends while the Christos gown rocks that fashion-forward and fabulous asymmetrical look.  Claire Pettibone short or cap sleeve is always a favorite for a destination wedding with her simple silhouettes and light lace fabrics.  Whereas Pronovias has that sexy but traditional Spanish-infused look perfect for an exotic destination wedding and Monique Lhuillier’s ethereal gown would flow down any windy aisle flawlessly.

Have fun shopping ladies!  These gowns will start to make the salon rounds in the coming months and will be available by next season’s nuptials.wedding dresses for destination weddingsAs expected, we found lace, lace, and more lace in most collections.  Perhaps thanks to Princess Catherine’s wedding, but regardless of the reason, we’re loving the look – a bit more traditional, worldly, and lightweight way to walk down that exotic aisle!
