Hand painted watercolor works of art are so soft and whimsical, they make for great wedding additions!  Have you thought of adding watercolors to your wedding?  Opt for an overseas bridal designer and wear a painted wedding dress or order watercolor wedding invitations to set the mode.

Since this is a destination wedding, why not watercolor your location for your save the date?  Or better yet, have a painter on site on the wedding day to paint the picture of your location!

Ole for Orange Wedding Details

Exotic wedding destinations often call for bright celebratory color palettes – after all, just think of how much of the Caribbean, Mexico, Spain and other countries embrace bright colors.  So rather than fight with your beautiful backdrop, embrace it!  Today we’re celebrating that va va voom that comes with infusing orange into your wedding design.  Perfect for a Spanish influenced event or just an outdoor fete with pops of prettiness, we heart orange for a destination wedding accent!  Just enough of color to make a splash, but not too much to take away from the beauty of the bride and groom or their wedding setting.

Italy Destination Weddings

I have a longtime love affair with Italy (from when I studied in Rome in college, to the pasta and vino obsession I can’t seem to kick).  But I think one of my absolute favorite Italian ideas is a wedding in a property from ancient times.  Rome is a city with buildings built upon buildings from its past and many of the Italian countryside villas are working homes in the framework of historic homes.  The depth and life that you feel and see at these venues inspire some pretty incredible wedding details and imagery.  So if you’re considering an Italian “I do,” consider a few fabulous details to layer your property with, much like their generations have done for centuries.  I love the look of earthy tones and a palette that appears to be a part of the property when at a venue as special as these!  Add great food, great wine, great friends, and maybe even a little Limoncello and you’ve got a recipe for an unforgettable experience!
