Parisian Style Wedding Inspiration

A dreamy wedding in Paris or a Parisian inspired affair? Oui, oui! What could be better than saying I do in the city of love? Play with the unique tastes of Paris by having your bridesmaids carry their bouquets in a fashion-forward side bag to embody the everyday life of this romantic city. Lace is the way to go for this lovey-dovey destination wedding, so stunning! To get the right inspired hairstyle, consider a tousled look with curls for an airy vibe. A macaroon cake? How perfect! This will top off your amazing Parisian wedding. Celebrate with your guests by having a champagne tower to kick off the festivities. Also, have your guests lounge in luxury with striped love seats with a touch of glitter pillows for some eye catching dimensions. Black and white stripes are a signature Parisian style that will have an everlasting effect and can be used in a ton of ways throughout your ceremony and reception. End your day of romance with signs that say sweet sayings in french to have fun with while being photographed. The city that was made for romance is awaiting the day you say I do!

Parisian Inspired Wedding Ideas

Inspired by Valentine’s Day, the holiday of love, we decided to dedicate a post to the city of love, Paris. And lets face it, we have all at one point dreamed of getting married in Paris. Swoon over these romantic details like the “madame & monsieur” signs, macaron favors, and touches of grey and pink. The color palette creates a  light and airy, subtle feel that perfectly compliments the gorgeous city.

An Intimate Elopement in Paris, France

Paris elopement

Sophia and Bert were together for nine years before deciding on an intimate elopement in Paris for their destination wedding.  Enlisting the help of the team at WeddingLight, the couple had beautiful photographs captured of their wedding day.

“Their day, (which is actually their anniversary of getting together) began at the apartment rue Notre Dame des petits champs in the heart of St Germain des prés, with getting ready and some shots by our photographer, Olivier Lalin from WeddingLight Paris.”

“They then hopped into their chauffeured car to their ceremony location, the gorgeous Chapelle Expiatoire in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. It is one of our favorite ceremony venues and is quite a gem of a location!  As they entered and walked the gravel path into the chapel, there was a violinist to follow and welcome them as they entered and met their officiant. Then, after taking some great photos on location, Olivier took Sophia and Bart a photo tour through Paris to finish their lovely day!”
