Destination Wedding Thank You Postcards

It’s wedding etiquette to send out thank you  notes to all those that came to celebrate with you on your wedding day.  So, why not send out postcards?! Wedding post cards are an amazing way to say thank you, especially if you’re having a destination wedding! You can take pictures with a polaroid camera, write a note on the back, and send them out to your guests. It’s a creative idea, and allows your guests to see the adventures you and your spouse are having post-wedding! You can also take polaroid pictures during the wedding with your guests and send those out as thank you notes. Another way to send a personalized thank you postcard is having a picture of you and your spouse as the postcard’s main image; or you can simply have an image of the beautiful wedding location on the front of your postcard. Whatever you decide to do, don’t forget to save one of the postcards for yourself as a wedding keepsake!

Spring Destination Wedding Inspiration

Winter is finally on it’s way out and Springtime is here! And with the new season upon us, we found it fitting to share with you a few destination wedding ideas with Spring flowers and bright colors in mind.

A great way to celebrate your I Do’s and the beginning of Spring is a beach wedding using a mix of bright and pastel colors and flowers. If you want to skip the flowers but still want their beautiful colors, try different colored linens and drapery that will flow gracefully in the sea breeze! It’s also a lovely idea to have your ceremony in an English garden where the floral arrangements are built right in, which makes it that much more romantic. One thing we found stunning was a Polynesian wedding at the Four Seasons Bora Bora (pictured below). They hold a traditional wedding ceremony completely surrounded and decorated with hibiscus flowers and palm fronds = Absolutely Gorgeous!

Spring is all about new beginnings whether it be new blooms or a new life with your loved one, so take these ideas to heart for your sweet Spring wedding abroad!

You can also craft these nostalgic items as decor, string them into garlands or turn them into cupcake toppers. Perhaps a paper airplane send off is more your style than a sparkler getaway? It would certainly make for fantastic pictures at an outdoor wedding! Don’t let the word paper stop you either. These paper airplane inspired rings would make great bridesmaid gifts. And those push pins? Perfect for holding pinning escort cards in their place! It’s time to get creative!
