Ideas and inspiration for your wedding details can come from just about anywhere.  What you love at home, what you love about your destination wedding location, what you saw in a photograph, or what you read about in a book.  Today, we’re inspired by Spanish tile.  If you’re getting married in an appropriate locale, consider incorporating them into your place card or escort card display.  There are so many creative ways you can incorporate tile into your guests’ seat selection (and it’s fun to shop for too)!

Whether you are combining tiles to form one large pattern or selecting no two that are alike, the finished effect is beautiful.  Consider shopping locally for one-of-a-kind tiles and make a day out of it with your fiance.  Each tile will have a story and inspire your guests with the local culture.

And should actual tile be a little too heavy to handle, consider paper place cards branded with and inspired by a local tile pattern.  Whether you wed on the Caribbean coast of Mexico or touch down in Barcelona, Spain, local artisans everywhere will give you lots of ways to weave the local beauty into your event.
