Every once and a while I have the opportunity to touch down in a place that I love, and stay at a property that I might even love more than the place itself (if that’s possible!). One of those such properties is The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Yep, I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this sprawling resort on more than one occasion (we’ll call it work, but take a look at the photos, it’s not hard work!) and each time I walk away from a business trip here, I feel more relaxed than on most vacations! Now, just imagine your wedding at such a special place (and stateside no less).
Getting married at The Breakers means you and your wedding guests will be met with rich history, exceptional service, spectacular ceremony (and reception) sites, and a destination wedding vacation on the coast of Florida that rivals any exotic and tropical destination you may be dreaming about. With none of the hassle of saying “I do” overseas, the weddings team at The Breakers will take care of your every desire. From an in-house production crew to design and dazzle you for your big day, to menus that will make any foodie swoon and beautifully appointed (and renovated) hotel rooms, this place has it all for the discerning destination couple.
If the guys like to golf, they’ve got two championship courses. Or if tennis is more your speed, they were voted one of the top 50 tennis resorts around!
Then when it comes time for the wedding, you can tent the lawn, dance the night away in a grand ballroom, enjoy cocktails in a courtyard – any setting you’ve got in mind, chances are they’ve got it among their 140 acres of oceanfront property.
From an intimate oceanside I do for fifty guests to a formal affair for 500, this versatile property really does treat each guest like their most important.
Oh, and did I mention they have Sylvia Weinstock cakes for you too!? You can get the godmother of cakes to create your wedding day dessert for the end of the night!
And then of course when the big day is done, don’t forget to take a little time for yourselves and enjoy a honeymoon or mini-moon before jetting off to your next destination! Hit the spa before, during and after your big day to get that blushing bride glow and keep it!
