Rebecca and Michael held their destination wedding in a spectacular park in San Francisco; but not just any park – the Golden Gate Park. Hidden beneath beautiful trees, a sweet ceremony with an intimate crowd of friends and family stood by their side as they said “I do.”

The bride’s style was to die for! A Vera Wang wedding dress paired with love appropriate red heart adorned shoes and in lieu of a bouquet, a wrist corsage!

Michael and Rebecca selected the location because… “San Francisco is our favourite city, we love everything about it.”

Wooden benches dressed with pillows set the ceremony and blended nicely with the natural environment.

Sweet and sentimental moments were shared during this darling ceremony.

Then it was time for a few fabulous photo ops with destination wedding photographer, Jonas Peterson.

A trolley car then took guests to the reception!

An array of tea cups, orange florals and personal details awaited guests when they arrived. “We wanted an eclectic mix of patterns & colours to create a fresh & happy atmosphere for us and for our guests.”

Local beers and lavender cocktails were served to keep the magic of the city infused into every detail!
And the day went off without a hitch! “Everything ran smoothly from the beginning. Planning the day from the other side of the world was often time consuming & tricky with the time difference, but thankfully no real hiccups.”

To wrap up the event, guests were given Ghiradelli chocolates in tin trolley car containers!

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Frequently named one of the World’s Best Hotels by

Randy and Kaitlin wed along the Northern California coast in beautiful Big Sur. The couple wanted guests to not only attend a wedding at a spectacular place, but it was important that everyone get the opportunity to take in the natural surroundings. The selected the Mill Creek Ranch as the perfect spot (the couple were lucky enough to have a family member who owns the ranch and could not think of a better use for it than an intimate wedding).
The ceremony took place high above the Pacific Ocean on a deck overlooking the coast and included the couple’s favorite four pups that were an important part of the big day. We love the mismatched ceremony chairs to infuse a bit of character and depth into the deck without taking away from the incredible view!
Post ceremony guests were ushered into a chapel on property that had been transformed into a swanky dinner setting. Kenna explained, “When you came into the reception in the chapel you instantly were taken back by the structure which was constructed with redwood from the property. They wanted to mix elegance with comfort and that is exactly what they did. The table was adorned with diamonds, silver, milk glass, and a black pin tuck runner all which gave an elegant look but we made sure to keep the sofa in the chapel so guests could relax.”
Let’s head to sunny Southern California – San Diego to be exact, where one of my favorite domestic resorts is nestled in the hills above and just a tad inland from the Pacific Ocean.
